SANY Technology: Licensing agreement for 3.X MW turbines. Establishing manufacturing units in Karnataka and Gujarat to produce over 700 blades annually, de-risking the internal supply chain.
5.0 GWh Pune Plant: Operationalised a 5 GWh facility in Maharashtra to support large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and meet domestic content requirements for grid stability.
GE Boiler Manufacturing Facility (Demerger): JSW Energy has approved a scheme of arrangement to acquire the boiler manufacturing business of GE Power India’s Durgapur facility through a demerger. The transaction, subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to strengthen in-house manufacturing capabilities, enabling greater vertical integration and reducing reliance on third-party suppliers for thermal power components.
