225MW Vijayanagar Solar Power Plant
A first for JSW Energy
Commissioned on 7th April 2022, Vijayanagar Solar Power Plant is JSW Energy's first utility scale solar power plant located near the JSW Steel's Vijayanagar plant and has a generating capacity of 225MW. The project has a PPA under group captive scheme for 25 years which provides long-term predictable cash flows.
Our strategic objective is being committed to become carbon neutral by the year 2050. JSW Group has been exploring all possibility to generate and use green power.

Mytrah Solar Assets
JSW Energy has acquired 422 MW of Solar Portfolio from Mytrah Energy. Spread across key regions in India, the portfolio comprises solar assets in Telangana (327 MW), Karnataka (45 MW), and Punjab (50 MW), further solidifying the company’s commitment to sustainable energy.
Acquired by JSW Energy in March 2023, these assets are of high value and quality, showcasing the company’s dedication to growing its clean energy footprint. These assets were turnaround and made fully operational through focused interventions.
